Affirmative Action

My current research centers on what I call the education-policy-by-ballot-initiative phenomenon. I have been studying the way that affirmative action is being challenged by ballot initiatives such as the one that passed in Michigan in November 2006 and the ones that are being proposed for the 2008 ballot in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma. This page has links and information related to these ballot initiatives, as well as other issues related to affirmative action in higher education admissions.
